Welcome to the Ohio Learning Network, a consortium of Ohio’s public and independent colleges and universities. We are excited to have both you and your institution as participants in our online course catalog, OhioLearns and we look forward to working together to create a successful project for all.

As the designated Catalog Coordinator for your institution, you are Ohio Learning Network’s primary contact at your institution; you are vital to the success of the online catalog. We will look to you for information about your institution’s distributed learning opportunities.

The Ohio Learning Network’s primary goal is to increase Ohioans' access to education. We are working to expand access to learning opportunities by enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of colleges and universities to use technology in instruction and research. The Ohio Learning Network also will facilitate partnerships among higher education institutions, as well as collaborations between higher education and PK-12, business, industry and local communities.

As part of OLN's mission to provide Ohioans greater access to higher education and job skills training, the online course catalog is designed to provide students with convenience, choice, and ease in upgrading job skills, exploring areas of personal growth, or reaching the goal of completing a college degree.

The reference manual includes information on the responsibilities of the catalog coordinator, data entry procedures, modifying course/degree information, and course and degree transition pages. We will notify you of changes and have replacement pages made available to you on our web site for easy download.
