We are using a Wiki for our training manual to encourage Catalog Coordinators to add their comments and suggestions as supplemental text. By sharing with the larger community how they do their tasks, Catalog Coordinators can assist one another by addressing similar technical issues and how to solve common technical problems. We do this to make those efforts of completing tasks related to maintaining OhioLearns! more efficient.

To achieve this, under each heading on the Main Page there is a link at the bottom of the page when you scroll down titled Discuss this Page.

When you click on this link a text box will appear. Please type in your comments and suggestion here. We suggest you write your comments and suggestion using only text. At the top of the editor are special coding tools that predominately use HTML language. For interested users, there is a MediaWiki User Guide that describes how these tools can be used. We do not recommend this nor expect their usage.

The simplest use is to add text, and save it. Your text will appear on the Discussion Page associated to the specific topic found in hte manual.

We encourage participation. We also hope you refer to these pages, written by members of the OLN Catalog Coordinator community, for additional technical comments and suggestions, as they pertain to specific catalog issues.

OLN administrators reserve the right to edit submission for content and style. Our focus will be to promote those comments and suggestions that will aid the community with technical assistance.
